One of the year’s lecturers is the respected Dr.Ali Jawaid, a pioneer of neuroscience in the fields of neuroepigenetics, neurodegenerative diseases, cognitive function processes, dementia and PTSD. With the honorary PhD title by the UZH / ETH International Program in Neuroscience and the UZH-MD PhD Program, Dr. Jawaid is a relatively young face in the world modern medicine, and you can hear his lecture on “A Key role for metabolism and epigenetics in pathogenesis and inheritance of brain disorders” (day) at (time), (location).
This lecture will be a didactic and interactive exercise aimed to inspire medical students to engage in multi-disciplinary translational neuroscience. This will be at the interface of clinical and basic neuroscience, brain-environment interaction, and influence of metabolism on the brain and the germ-line.
